Conference FAQs

Q: Where will the conference be located?

A: The conference will be located at Convene at 75 Rockefeller Plaza, 31st floor, New York, NY 10104. 75 Rockefeller Plaza is located between 5th and
6th Avenue with entrances on 51st and 52nd Street.

Q: How do I get to 75 Rockefeller?

A: If taking the Baker Retail provided transportation, the bus will drop you off right in front of 75 Rockefeller Plaza where you can proceed inside for check-in. If you are arriving individually, the closest MTA stops are at 5th Ave/53rd St using either the EM lines or between 47-50th St and 5th Ave using the BDFM lines.

Q: Will there be transportation to the event?

A: For Wharton students, you may purchase a $15 roundtrip bus ticket on CampusGroups. The bus will leave promptly at 6:15 AM from Rittenhouse Square and depart New York City at 4:15 PM at the conclusion of the conference. The bus will make two stops on the way back from the event with the first drop off spot at Annenberg Center at around 7:00 PM followed by Rittenhouse Square. If you purchased a bus ticket, you will have received an email with more details.

Q: How do I check-in at the event?

A: You will receive an email with the subject line “New Guest Visit with Tiffany Alonzo” the night before the event and a reminder the morning of with a QR code. Scan the QR code at the elevator bank closest to 51st Street/Rockefeller Center. That QR code will assign an elevator and bring you to the 31st floor where one of the Convene team members will greet and direct you to your destination. From there, please look out for a check-in table with our WGRC members to sign in and receive a nametag.closest to 51st Street/Rockefeller Center. Q: When does the event start and end?

A: The event will start at 8:30 AM for breakfast and check-in - we ask that you arrive before 9:00 AM. The event will conclude at 4:00 PM.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: The dress code for the event is business casual.

Q: Will there be food?

A: A light breakfast will be provided upon arrival and lunch will be provided mid-day. Lunch will include vegetarian and vegan options. If you choose, you may leave the building during the lunch break to purchase your own food. However, if you choose this option, we ask that you please finish eating prior to re-entering the building as outside food is not allowed.
